There is often uncertainty about sponsoring a kiddush. There are various options, which we have listed for you below.
1. We have the Monica Roes fund. You can donate to this fund via the NIHS bank account. You decide the amount yourself. The description must clearly state that it is for the Monica Roes fund. These donations are spent on the weekly kiddush.
2. A standard kiddush can be sponsored. A standard kiddush costs 150 euros. If you would like to sponsor a standard kiddush, please transfer the amount of 150 euros to the NIHS account, stating ‘sponsoring kiddush’ and the week number.
3. You can expand the kiddush with extras, such as salmon and/or meat. You must make arrangements for this with the rabbi. The rabbi purchases the products to ensure that all products are kosher. The additional costs for supplementing this kiddush must be paid directly to the rabbi. The NIHS is not involved in this.
4. You can also sponsor an extended kiddush (standard + extras). You arrange this with the NIHS for the standard contribution of 150 euros and the extras with the rabbi.
